Bet of the day

Plymouth v Hull - Hull to win @ 1/1

There will be plenty riding on this match at Home Park for both Plymouth and Hull, with the hosts battling to survive in the Championship and the visitors eyeing a place in the play-offs.

While Plymouth could survive even if they lose this game, for Hull the equation is simple, they must win to stand any chance of gatecrashing the top six and that could play into their hands.

The Tigers are unbeaten in six, have lost just one of their last nine away fixtures and only the top two in the division, Leicester and Ipswich, have accumulated more points on the road than Liam Rosenior's side.

In contrast, Plymouth have been nosediving down the table over the second half of the season and their once strong home record has disappeared, as they have won just once in nine on their own patch.

Special of the day

Arsenal, Manchester City, Ipswich and Leeds all to win @ 13/10

The Premier League title race is down to two and both Arsenal and Manchester City face winnable home fixtures on Saturday.

The Gunners host an in-form Bournemouth in the lunchtime kick-off and, although the Cherries are much improved, they have lost on all six of their previous visits to the Emirates Stadium.

In the late game, City will be looking to extend their unbeaten run in the Premier League to 20 matches when they welcome to the Etihad a Wolves side who have very little to play for and who have taken just two points from their last four away fixtures.

It could also be worth incorporating Championship promotion chasers Ipswich and Leeds into this four-fold, as they should claim victories on home turf as well.

The Tractor Boys need just a point to seal automatic promotion, but can comfortably dispatch relegation-bound Huddersfield, while Leeds must win to have any chance of finishing in the top two, something they should achieve against a Southampton team already thinking about the play-offs.

Long shot of the day

Burnley to beat Newcastle to nil - 15/2

Burnley have boosted their survival hopes significantly following a run of just one defeat in eight Premier League games and they can strengthen their claims further by beating poor travellers Newcastle at Turf Moor.

The Clarets may have kept just two clean-sheets all season in the league, but they have only conceded three goals across their last three home fixtures, while their last three victories over Newcastle have all been to nil and at home.

Newcastle score plenty of goals at home, but have drawn a blank in two of their last three road fixtures, including producing a particularly toothless display at Crystal Palace in their most recent away game - a match that ended 2-0 to the hosts.
